Shift to wordpress hosting

    Hi team, I currently have a website with Godaddy’s basic managed wordpress plan. I want to try wordpress’s personal plan for wordpress. I just want to know if I get one year of free domain for my own domain or is it only for purchasing a new domain? Second one, can I simply move to wordpress to convert all contents and design of my website by purchasing the plan from wordpress?

    Each of our paid WordPress.com plans include a free domain credit that you can use to register a new domain. You can also map domains registered outside WordPress.com to a site with a paid plan for free.

    This depends on what you’d like to move to WordPress.com. You can migrate your site content using our built-in Importer once you’ve created a site on WordPress.com.
