Shipping fees not included in order total

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve been having some issues with my shipping fees. my site is automatically giving people free shipping, even though it should only be available for orders over R1000 and for collection orders.

    I’ve looked at my shipping settings and all seem to be fine. Please assist in any way you can, it will be greatly appreciated.

    These are the three main areas you need to check:

    1. Shipping Locations:
      • Confirm whether your shipping locations cover global or specific regions.
    2. Shipping Methods (Inside the location):
      • Within each location, review the available shipping methods.
    3. Shipping Method Conditions (Inside the method):
      • Examine the conditions set for each shipping method. Is it based set to “Minimum Order Amount”?

    And don’t forget: the order of information matters! If you offer free shipping for a specific location and paid shipping for the rest of the country, ensure that the free shipping option appears first in the list. It works like an “IF” statement from top to bottom (e.g., Free Shipping IF the person is in a specific location; IF NOT, move to the next option).
