Shocking Blue Green theme question

  On the right side of the home page is a list of items; pages, links, categories, etc. I want to delete the Meta one and yet I cannot find the place to go to delete that. They are not widgets. What am I missing? Can you help me please?

  What you are seeing is the default sample set of widgets that are displayed to show you what it would look like with widgets. Simply go to appearance > widgets and add in the widgets that you wish to use and the default set will disappear.
