  Hello! I am a new business owner and I am in the middle of creating my online store with Shopify. But in the meantime I want to create a blog. How do I link wordpress and shopify together? Since I already own a domain name with Shopify, should I transfer domain to WordPress or Map my domain? I am confused about the two. Or should I create a new domain name through WordPress? I just need advice. Thank you for your time.

  Hi @latrece85, have you thought about using https://blog.yourshopifydomain.com for your site? That’s what I would do.

  We even have a how-to here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/

  If you need help with that, our support can step you through. I’d recommend buying your plan first so we can work with you directly over chat and what not.

  Oh, I forgot to mention, you’d be welcome to add a menu link to your shop. And, on your shop site, you can add a menu link that points back to your blog. That’s usually a fine way to link two separate sites together.
