Shopify domain name integrated through wordpress?

Can someone help me explain to my boss via live chat, what all needs to be done to run our website through wordpress with shopify hosting our domain name and our products being in shopify’s platform. What do we need to do to build our site through wordpress integrating shopify as our checkout/shopping software and shopify also hosting our domain name.

Hi there,
You cannot have a website running WordPress and Shopify at the same time. Shopify is a completely integrated hosting platform, and something completely separate and different from the WordPress software.
At most you can have a site at Shopify, and a completely different site with its own domain running WordPress, either hosted with us on WordPress.com or with another hosting provider, and then embed your Shopify store or products from your store to the WordPress site using a plugin.
You can find Shopify’s official option for this at https://www.shopify.com/buy-button/wordpress, but there are also other WordPress plugins that offer some level of integration, for example, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpshopify/
To use third party plugins like that on WordPress.com will require our Business Plan.
