Shopify to Woocommerce

    Hi, I am trying to switch from Shopify to Woocommerce.
    I bought my hosting through Siteground. What I can’t figure out is that my website is live on Shopify, yet if I install wordpress and try to go to admin panel, it directs me to my old platform (shopify website)

    Please help :/

    Hi there, I understand from what you’ve said that your site is currently hosted with Siteground rather than here on WPcom.

    If you are installing the open source WP software with the Woocommerce plugin on Siteground, please contact Siteground support. If they say this is a WordPress problem, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

    Just to again clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform. For more information on the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
