Shopkeep / ‘Online Store’ Plugin

I am trying to connect my WordPress website to Shopkeep via the ‘Online Store’ plugin Shopkeep gave to me. Their documentation states that I can add categories and products to my website under the ‘Storefront’ tab in the WordPress admin but my admin does not have a ‘Storefront’ tab. I have a tab called ‘Design’ but it is very different. Here is the documentation Shopkeep provided me with:https://help.shopsettings.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004279225-Wordpress Shopkeep customer service stated that they received those instructions and screenshots from WordPress directly and any further assistance would need to taken up with WordPress customer service.

The instructions don’t match because the documentation is for adding a plugin to a WordPress.org website, but your post suggests that your site is hosted with WordPress.com. These two versions of WordPress have some differences.
To make this work for your site on WordPress.com, you need to host at the Business plan level.
The instructions still won’t be exact for your site, so I recommend seeking staff assistance through live chat support to step through the installation of the plugin.

Hello again!
The screenshot isn’t working for me, but this forum supports sites hosted on WordPress.com. The WordPress.com staff has visibility and access to WordPress.com accounts that it does not have for other hosting platforms. For that reason, assistance here is very limited for sites running on other hosting services.
There are similar community support forums for self-hosted sites at WordPress.org.
