  Can I have a shopping cart with link to Pay Pal on my WordPress blog?

  Hi,
  I’d like to offer Digital Downloads of images on my blog rnphotography.wordpress.com
  Can I set up a page on my blog that allows Shopping Cart and Payment facilities to visitors to my blog?
  If so, how do I go about it?
  (I am a member of PayPal)

  You can only sell things on your blog if you have made them yourself, so I’m guessing you want to sell photos. I don’t believe you can make a shopping cart (could be wrong), since it’s probably impossible due to the restrictions in code (no javascript) for wordpress.com.

  You can though, use a paypal button which you then use to get people to send you the money in exchange for the photos or whatever, this will obviously be more of a hassle, but it can work. http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/ .

  You may want to consider a self-hosted wordpress.ORG site, where you’ll be able to set up a shopping cart for e-commerce.

  Short answer, No.

  The ONLY thing that works here is the Paypal Donate button. If you want, you can use it to sell your own artistic works like photos; use a Contact Form for people to contact you in concert with the Donate button, and have them specify which image they want. It’s kludgy but it works.
