Shopping Cart on each image in a gallery?

  I want to display paintings in a gallery, and put a shopping cart on each of the images. Can I do this?

  WordPress.com is not really set up for e-commerce.

  If you need a shopping cart for your site, then you may want to look at hosting your site with a hosting service using the standalone WordPress software.
