Shoreditch: Changing column widths
-
In the Shoreditch theme, a two column layout can be created.
Is there somewhere in this theme where I can override the width of the columns? I’d like to have 30% of the width dedicated to an image, and 70% dedicated to text.
Any advice for implementing this, or some approximation of it, would be appreciated.

Hi there, which *columns* are you referring to? The content column and the sidebar or creating columns within in a post or page?
In order to make a change like this to your theme’s content column and sidebar you would need to upgrade to either the Premium or Business plan upgrade which includes the ability to customize the CSS of your theme.

If you mean within a single post or page and not involving the sidebar, then you can follow the instructions on the Shoreditch theme showcase page https://wordpress.com/theme/shoreditch under Columns (recommended for advanced users only)

I’m referring to the columns that can be created within a post or page, using
column-1-2. The columns have a default width, which I would like to alter. -
Hello again, you might be able to achieve this by experimenting with DIV width, but if you insert and align an image to left or right and then wrap the text around it, does that produce the same effect? https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/
