Shoreditch slider issue

Hi,
I am currently using the Shoreditch theme on my blog and I keep having issues with the featured content slider. The problem is that articles keep disappearing from the slider at random, even if they still have the appropriate tag on them.
For example, yesterday I posted an article and all my four ‘featured’ ones were on the slider. Shortly after, my new article disappeared from it. Today my new article is back on but one of the articles in the middle has disappeared.
I understand I can have up to 6 featured articles on the slider, so why does this keep happening? How can I fix it?

By the way, if when you visit my blog you see all 4 articles on the slider, please know that it was probably a random fix again.
I would very much like to know what I can do to make sure this won’t keep happening in the future, or that I won’t have to keep waiting for things to fix themselves randomly at some point.

Hi – there is a known bug with the featured tag behaving in this way. We do hope to have a fix within the week, and will keep you posted here.

Thanks, I hope you can find a solution soon. This issue has actually been going on since I started using the theme back in November 2017.

Indeed. The issue is a longstanding one in multiple themes, and it’s been very difficult to trace down and solve, but we’re close.
