Shoreditch text over home feature image

  Hi There, I’m working with the shoreditch theme and am having trouble getting the text to run over the top of the pic on the home page. I’ve followed all the steps as per the setup instructions (ie: set the desired page as the panel-page-template) but the wording shows up under the pic instead. Is there a step that I’m missing.

  Should there be a separate field to add an introduction statement?

  Hi there,

  Did you make sure that the Featured Image is set for the Front page in the editor? If you choose a Featured image from your Customizer it will show the image with text below. So what you have to do is to add the image directly for the page with the Panel Page Template and remove the Featured image for your site through the Customizer. This will then show the image with text pasted on it.
