Shoreditch theme featured image

  The featured image on each page and blog post is tinted with a grey shadow which alters the colour balance and reduces the brightness and contrast of the image. The images in the body of the page or post do not have shading. How do I remove the shading over the header image ?

  Sorry, I should have said ‘featured image’ as I don’t have a header image :-)
