Shoreditch Theme: line between posts and infinite scroll
-
I am using Shoreditch, with latest posts displayed on the main page. I would like there to be a little more space between the post excerpts on the homepage, possibly a thin line in the same style as the ones already displayed on the theme. Is this possible via CSS?
Also, is it possible to remove the “read more posts” button after 5 posts and have the posts load automatically as you go down the page, or be able to set how many posts you would like to appear before the button?
Thanks in advance, Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,
I would like there to be a little more space between the post excerpts on the homepage, possibly a thin line
Sure! The following custom CSS can be pasted in to My Sites > Customise > CSS. It will add a line under posts on the homepage and increase the space between them:
/* adds a line and space under posts on the homepage */ .home .post { border-bottom: 1px solid #f5f5f5; margin-bottom: 50px; padding-bottom: 50px; }is it possible to remove the “read more posts” button after 5 posts and have the posts load automatically as you go down the page
Yes, infinite scroll (which doesn’t include an older posts button) can be enabled from My Sites > Settings > Writing > Theme Enhancements > Infinite Scroll. Toggle on the
Infinite Scrolloption.or be able to set how many posts you would like to appear before the button?
If you decided not to use infinite scroll, the number of posts before the button can be changed in My Sites > Settings > Writing > Content types. From there,
Blog postscan be set to any number you like. You’re welcome to reply here or start a chat if you need any further help :)

Thanks so much Gemma, the code worked like a charm and I located the scrolling preferences in settings.
