I edited my post and I need the short link updated. The short link still goes back to my original post which i had a typo in. I updated the typo but the short link is still linked to the older version of the post. help!

Just wait. It sounds like you’ve just got a caching issue.
If it doesn’t change within an hour, please give us both the short and long links here so we can research this.

It’s been 3 hours and it still won’t work. Here’s the link:
http://wp.me/p5mFVY-2JOn Twitter it is okay, but when I paste this in Facebook it still has the misspelled titled in it. I cleared my browsing history too. Nothing helping with the Facebook aspect.

There is absolutely no difference between the posts I see at each link.
I suggest you log out of WP.com, clear your browser cache and cookies, and look again.

When I copy and paste the link into a status post on Facebook, the picture that comes up is the one that says, Hanukkah Hairy. Now it’s says Hanukkah Harry but it still shows the other spelling. If I copy and paste the permalink in, it doesn’t show up as a blog post page at all. Any ideas why this is only happening on Facebook?

That’s a problem with Facebook’s cache. It took a snapshot of your post in its previous form and is using that when you use the old link. Use the new link or clear your Facebook cache. This is a very common issue. http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
