Short Posts with read more link?

  Currently on the home page of my blog it shows the entire published post. I’d like it to shoe just a small bit with a read more button to go to the full story. Is this possible, and if so, how can I get it to work?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can absolutely do this by using the More Tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
