  I see a lot about publishing a book, but do you also do short stories? Or is there a difference in the way you handle them?

  I’m not clear on what you are asking and how it relates to blog posts because they can be any length we choose to make them. Perhaps these links will be helpful:

  By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
