Short Story Contest Magazine
-
I am interested in hosting an online periodical for short story submissions. If I purchase a business domain name from wordpress, can I easily charge for editorial services or minimal submission fees to publish contest winners’ stories?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I want to know if it is hard to charge for services with a new business domain name. Editors, please respond – (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Nobody will email you. Answers go here in the forum for the benefit of other members who may have the same question.
Define “easily.” You can charge for those things even on a free blog here. No upgrade except the $299 Business upgrade allows you an estore, but you can always use the Paypal Buy It Now button or Donation button according to the instructions on the Support documents here.

Thank you for letting me know that, raincoaster. I want to make my editing services available, some way, and I would love to hold short story contests. Everyone wants to get paid, even if it is not too much. I will surely let you know when I setup a blog or domain for fiction writing submissions. Do you have any drafts I can revise for free? I am the magical man authoring; I can make typos… disappear! Only I can help you keep your natural style. :)
Thanks again; my twitter name is @jcm3rockstar .
My author page to see my book and my tweets with rock-n-roll links is here.
Thank you again for your communication. I am oblivious to things like the power of social networking on the web and editorial services; I just love writing, read books on grammar styles. What do you guys, as people who read this, suggest for such plights as starting an online periodical for publishing people’s work or other editorial services? I imagine wordpress has zeal in the realm of photography. I am too poor for a camera, shy of crowds, and more of a writer, myself.
When there is possibility, nothing can stop our efforts.
