short text appears instead of FULL TEXT POST

  I am posting images and need FULL post to appear on my home page. however, short text with “continue reading” appears which cuts half the text and image thumbnails. I have checked my Reading settings and they are clearly on “Display FULL text”.
  can’t seem to resolve. will be most grateful for tips

  Hi irinazi,

  I believe you have set the Read More tag manually in your post, in order to get the “Continue Reading” link. Although, I just looked at your site and it seems you have figured it out.

  Also, the setting: Settings -> Reading: “For each article in a feed, show:”, that you’re referring to only affects RSS feeds associated with your site, and not the display of posts.

  Hi colorfultones, thanks for replying. I ended up deleting the pages and re-posting them as nothing seemed to worked. (I had re-checked the Settings -> Reading settings a dozen times, cleared my cache, etc. before emailing for help. so can only assume it was a ‘glitch’ . thank you for getting back to me though
