  Hi, I am currently building a website on WordPress using the sports press plug in. When I copy and paste a short code given and paste it in to one of my pages, the result does not show? An I missing something, sorry new to WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you please verify the website address you are working with? It looks like this may be a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

  If you have manually added a plugin, you are using the self-hosted version.
