shortcode categories

  Hi there, I want to put some of my blog categories in a shortcode. But some of the categories have more than one word, for example: desserts en snacks. Do I have to mention the whole category-name in my shortcode? Or is it just enough to use one of the words? If Inhave tommention all words, what do I do with the empty spaces between the words then?

  You’ll need to use the ‘category slug’ rather than the full name of the category in the shortcode. To find out what the slug for a category is, go to Posts > Categories in your wp-admin dashboard and you should be able to see a list of categories, with the ‘Slug’ for each shown on the right.
