shortcode from Houzz.com doesn't work
-
I have signed up to Houzz.com which is a Home design and decorating website. It says on their site that I can post articles from their site to my blog, and they give the shortcode specifically for a wordpress site which I have copied and pasted into a post but it doesn’t work. There is nothing there when I preview the post. Does anyone know why or tried this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are two flavors of wordpress software so too speak. And only wordpress.ORG sites can post JavaScript widgets and iframe code. Here at wordpress.COM we have code restrictions https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
If republishing published content from that site is what you want to do, you have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set you your own wordpress.org software install.
Instructions for Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Oh, that’s a shame. Thank you so much for your detailed reply, it is very helpful. I may look into signing up with wordpress.org some time in the future.
