shortcode issues

  Hello

  I use a Facebook page to share my posts for my FB friends too lazy to hit the blog page. I’ve always copied the shortcode into FB and the featured image comes up along with a short box with the first few paragraphs (I initially tried turning on the sharing settings and that was useless)

  It is now mysteriously bringing up our about page profile picture for any shortcode.

  Yes, I know the answer from WP will be the usual (It’s FB, not WP) but I figured I;d ask anyway. This basically ruins half my audience because nobody wants to read a post without the featured image attached.

  Can anyone help ???

  I have the same problem but WP support suggested me to use the below method that is working if you are using a PC, not a phone or Tab.
  1) copy the URL of your blog post
  2) Open up Facebook and paste it into the status box
  On the image you will see left and right arrows that will allow you to select the featured image.

  If you will find a method to work also for Tab please let us know..

  funny you say that because I tried that today and yes, it works. Sadly, we are moving overseas and the PC is getting boxed next week which means posting from my Ipad for awhile

  Is this another one of those idiotic cases where something works fine therefore someone form somewhere has to go change it?
