Shortcode [latest_posts] does not work (Word Press 4.7)

    Hi, I am using the Unik Child – Universal Music Responsive WordPress Theme
    in Word Press 4.7.

    For some reason the shortcode [latest_posts], which is supposed to embed a defined number of my latest posts/blogs on any given page does not work.

    I used the shortcode as follows:
    [block_bg css=”][latest_posts count=’3′ style=’carousel’ title=’Latest Posts’][/block_bg]

    I tried to bypass that problem by installing the ‘Improved Include Page’-Plugin, but is doesn’t seem to work either. I used the [include-page]-shortcode as follows:

    [block_bg css=”][include-page id=’216′][/block_bg]

    What i am doing wrong? Please help!

    These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. If you need further with a plugin , I’d suggest posting in the plugin’s support forum over at WordPress.org.
