shortcode not working

  I am using the shortcode [delay +1 hour] but the post is immediately posting. has something changed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, where did you find out about the shortcode you are using? That is not a feature here at WordPress.com.

  Can you verify the site address you are talking about, and where are you entering that shortcode?

  Where? Typically at the end….[delay +4 hours] but i did notice not always. Is that the problem, it must be at the end?

  Hi there,

  You should be able to use that shortcode anywhere in the post, though most people tend to add them at the end.

  I tried publishing a post this way on a test site, and it respected the delay shortcode – the posts were not immediately published, but added as scheduled posts – so it does appear to be working correctly.

  I notice you’re using various email clients – I can see recently emailed posts sent from Yahoo, Gmail and MS Outlook. Can you check if this issue only happens with a specific one of those clients, or if it happens regardless which one you choose?

  I tested using Gmail, and could not get the problem to occur there.

  MS Outlook did not work. It was the last line of the post. The PDF that was sent with it did not come through either.

  Sorry about the problems. Can you copy out the content of one of your emails that did not work and then post it here so that we can take a look at it?

  I see one scheduled post on your site right now, #333… is that one that you did by email, or is it one you wrote directly in WordPress?

  #333 was on site scheduled as the delay is not working. I’ll them thru again with the TESTING Subject and the method .

  In the post, Testing Shortcode sent via Gmail thru Outlook, the email you sent has the shortcode in twice, with different delays, so that won’t work.

  The other testing post you included only the shortcode and nothing else. That won’t work either.

  We need to see the email for one of the actual posts you sent that did not publish as scheduled. Please post the content of such an email here, as a reply to this forum thread, along with a link to the actual post. We need to see this on a real post to properly troubleshoot the problem.
