  Hi there, I am new to wordpress and have worked my way around some features and have started using the theme Sydney as I want a portfolio site that is mine however I am not a web builder by trade and need to know how to use the shortcode as people have mentioned needing it to showcase my gallery on my front page??

  loganzendesign.wordpress.com doesn’t use that theme and is empty: no posts, no pages, no comments, nothing.

  What is the real URL (http://…) of your blog?

  Im building a site using desktopserver on my pc before I host it.
  I found out you paste the shortcode into the area you type your blogs pages etc but thanks for replying

  Ok, then you are in the wrong forum.
  This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
