Shorten my blog post page

    Hi everyone. I have my blog posts on my home page. Now that I am getting more posts, it takes forever to scroll down the page if you want to see an older blog, especially on a mobile device. Is there a way to show the blog title with a few sentences and then a “read more” button so you can see more of the posts without scrolling so much? I did add a sidebar with a link to each blog post but you can only see this when using a desktop. Or does anyone have any other suggestions on how to change this?

    Hi kimbrown1615,

    You can accomplish this by checking the Content Options from your Customizer. Go to Customize>>Content Options and see if you have an option to select a radio button for “Post Excerpt”.
    This is dependent on the WordPress theme you use, not all the themes have this option. Please refer to this support document.

    If your current theme doesn’t have the built-in excerpt option, you can manually add the read more button by editing your blog posts.
