shortened urls

  I am getting a number of hits by the same shortened url. Since I am not promoting the site that much right now. When I backtrack the hit, I see a site that does not reveal a reason they would be interested in my site. I wonder why I might be getting a comparably high percentage of hits like that and if it might be spam. The site called maxfos, about car loans.

  These are most likely spam referrers. Please see this sticky at the top of the forums and then report them directly to Support
