Shortening blog entries on home page
-
I have a new blog and I want to change the format so that when the home face pops up, you see part of the entry and then a link to click for more, so we can have our readers see more of what we are about, instead of just one lost post after another. is this hard to do> anyone know how?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am also a newbie here and find this blog format to be unhelpful for cataloging and compiling of articles. As you accurately put it ‘just one lost post after another.’ There must be a way to do this that allows for articles to be even seen what to speak of being accessible to the reader. So anyone out there that knows how to create a list (headlines link) of available articles, I would be very grateful.

You can use the “more tag” to display only part of a post on your front page:

@ bhaktianandascollectedworks,
You can use the archives shortcode to display a list of all of your posts. You could add an index page for readers to find the list.
