Shortening emails to subscribers

  Love that I automatically can notify my subscribers when I post. But currently they receive the entire post, meaning they don’t have to go to my blog. Any way to shorten the notification email so that it includes, say, only the first four or five lines of the post? That will then “tease” them into visiting the blog so that they can read the whole thing.

  You can use the More tag, which will split your post’s content, also on the email that is sent to your subscribers.
