shortening feed copy when you post a new blog post
-
Is there a way to decide how much copy is added to a new post alert (meaning: when you post a new post, the recipient gets notification and a feed with some copy. My posts are generally an image with one line of important text. The rest of the text that feeds almost detracts from the point of the post. I’d like to take that stuff out. For an example, see my recent post Starry Foam at TheRoadsEdge. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – if you’d like those emails to show the full post instead of the summary, you can change that with the “For each article in a feed, show” option in Settings->Reading here:
https://theroadsedge.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.phpHowever, there’s no way to control how much text is displayed in the summary.
