Shortening post

  How can I cause my blog to only show a small portion of my article on the homepage, thus making the reader click on the post to open the rest? I have a large article, and it takes a long time to scroll through it; I would like to have a sort of “read more” option without having to change the theme. Thanks!

  Hi there. This functionality is already built into WordPress in the form of the “More Tag.” You can read more about it here:
