Shortlinks are not working after switching to .wordpress.com

  Hello,
  I owned a domain http://www.7ally.com and this year decided not to renew, and to go with http://www.7ally.wordpress.com
  Ever-since, the Get Shortlink feature has not been working. Even with new posts. Whenever the short link is clicked, I get a message “Uh oh! Your blog’s domain 7ally.com expired 19 days ago”
  How can I fix this?

  I canceled the domain mapping and everything seems to work fine now!
