Shoudn't I see my old .com stats using JetPack on my new .org site?

  The stats from my .com blog (lemegeton.wordpress.com) are not showing up in my new self-hosted blog (www.lemegeton.com/blog) using the JetPack plugin. I was let to believe that the stats should persist over the migration by using this tool. JetPack does show a successful connection to wordpress.com, and all of my other content seems to have migrated properly, including the redirection from wordpress.com. Just the stats are missing, which would be a shame since I have over five years invested in this blog. Thanks for any help or advise you can offer.
