Should delete site, but I forgot username and password

Hi guys,
A friend of mine created this website
valentinoboccacci.wordpress.com/
but now he renewed it and turned it into this
http://www.valentinoboccacci.com/
other website. He would like to delete the old website not to get people confused about his web address, but he does not remember username and password. Is there a way to permanently remove an unused website in wordpress?Note: He hasn’t refreshed the wordpress web for long time; I thought that it would have been removed automatically because of the very long period of not use!

He must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Tools – Delete site.
Clicking this link should display all his blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

His last resort for obtaining access is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery with as much information as possible and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
