Should I add/remove Tags on Published Post

    Hey all, Good evening.

    I’m wondering whether changing tags after a published post may negatively affect SEO? I want to optimize the tags I’ve used on old posts based on new tag additions, but I don’t want to negatively impact SEO (the goal is actually the opposite).

    Hi there,

    If you change the tags, your ranking might be affected, but for a short period of time. Search engines will eventually pick up the changes and your ranking will start climbing again.

    However, this is totally out of our control. Search engines use various techniques and algorithms to calculate a site’s ranking.
