Should I be submitting my own sitemap to google webmaster tools?

Sorry to ask a question that may already have been answered, but I am not clear from the info below on whether or not I should be submitting a sitemap.xml to google webmaster tools for my wordpress.com blog. From what I understand, WordPress takes care of it, so I imagine that I should not be submitting the sitemap myself? And if I do, will this create SEO ranking problems?

    XML Sitemaps for Search Engines

Your blog is enabled with just about everything you need to be super-searchable. This includes an XML sitemap, which you can access at yourblogname.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml.

No need to do anything extra on your end. The sitemap file included with your blog is available to every search engine that supports the protocol, including Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Ask.com, and others. WordPress.com automatically sends updates to search engines every time you update or delete a page or post.

  • We create it, but we do not submit it.
