Should I change post sludge?

  I re-write my posts a lot, and often I change my post title. Recently I discovered the “post sludge”. Is that part of the WordPress archives? Should I change that sludge if I change the title of my post?

  (It does have a funny name. When I went to the web to find out what that was I landed on all sorts of pages.)

  Post sludge – that sounds either like a medical procedure gone wrong or a heavy metal band.

  LOL…. Don’t you mean the ‘Post Slug’.

  I am not sure if you should change it because that becomes the web address to your post.

  Thank you very much for your answers. I did not know the slug is the address. I have changed quite a few titles of posts and nothing happened. Now I will simply make a test and find out.

  And it is not “sludge”, but “slug”. All these strange little new words, I am sure even native speakers would sometimes mix them up.
