Should I change the name of my shiny new blog?
-
Hello experts. I started my little project in blogging just under a week ago. Today I registered the address with my Google account to allow it to be searchable. My vanity wouldn’t let me resist searching for myself, and in doing so, I found out that Cheeky Diva, while not registered to anyone for a domain name, is the name of a store, or chain of stores. Do I need to change the name of my blog to not infringe on their obviously previous use of this name? Please help. I don’t want to get into some sort of trouble or step on anyone’s toes, or misrepresent their organization or myself. I guess I should have Googled the name before I used it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If they have an international trademark, it’s up to them to enforce it. Personally, I think you should keep the name; it’s a good one. If they ever do lay a trademark notice on you, the publicity will be awesome.

Awwww, thanks! I am pretty cheeky, and as far as Diva? Not so much, only in my dreams, but I tried a bunch of different names, and that really seemed to fit the tone and style of my blog, and I would rather not have to change it, unless of course keeping it involves jail time or a hefty fine. Or being eaten by wolves, or some other nasty punishment, cuz I’m kinda of a wussy.
