Should I delete my account?

    I am building a blog. Originally I set up THIS WP account to begin. I never attached it to my domain name. The domain name attached to this site is wayfaringwoods.wordpress.com.

    I have since learned that Bluehost offers hosting services and others. I and am currently building the site with my domain attached launching from Bluehost. I have attached this site to the domain wayfaringwoods.net.

    I would like to delete the direct account but do not want to jeopardize my bluehost launch WP account. Can you help me?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hey there,

    I think there’s some confusion here…

    To explain, there’s two types of WordPress. The first is WordPress.com, where we provide daily backups, automatic updates, a 24/7 support service and an optimised version of WordPress. The second is self-hosted WordPress, where the free open source version of the software is installed onto a server – in this case, Bluehost.

    The two are completely separate, so deleting the site here at WordPress.com is completely separate to that of a site created at Bluehost.

    Out of interest, is there a particular feature or set up that Bluehost is offering that is of appeal to you?
