Should I delete my wordpress.com blog?

I started my site on wordpress.com but switched to wordpress.org with my custom domain name. Now, when I type in my name with Google, both the wordpress.com and the wordpress.org site come up. My issue is that I connected the wordpress.org Jetpack with wordpress.com as it suggested so if I cancel my wordpress.com blog site, will that harm my wordpress.org site? My wordpress.org site is http://www.dawnwylder.com. Or should I just disconnect wordpress.com from the wordpress.org jetpack and then cancel the wordpress.com blog? Help! I spent so much time designing the wordpress.org site, I don’t want to lose any information by messing up.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Buy the site redirect to send traffic and teach search engines that you have moved – $ 13.- / year – one year should be fine

then make sure the content on your WordPress.COM site has been hidden (deleted, Posts / Pages set to Private, or set to draft) – leave a note on the old site that you have moved with a click link – that will pickup the odd link that never seems to be updated

Don’t delete your WordPress.COM site – all your options go away – leave it connected for your stats
