should I have downloaded WP.org software first?

    Hi! In the last several days I have purchased my own domain name, mapped it to WordPress and exported my content from Blogger to WordPress.com. But now I am realizing maybe I should have downloaded the WordPress.org software first because I did not realize it was the only way for me to add advertising that I have already established with my Blogger blog (not with Adsense–with other advertisers).

    What is the best step for me at this point without having to start from scratch? Although I must say the support team here has been great helping me along the way I think it shouldn’t take me nearly as long this time if I had to do it again. TIA for your help!

    Install WordPress on your domain.
    Here: Admin > Tools > Export, save file
    There: the reverse.

    Should be as easy as that. Does that help?
