Should I map or transfer a domain

    Hi there, I have a main website and Iam thinking on transferring it to here, WordPress. But I’d like to know what my readers feedback is on the possible move later on when I finish a prototype kinda of website here, and I’d like to have a second domain added to the my free WordPress site, to work as a subdomain to my main website so users can web back and forth without a confusing change of domains because of its host subdomain. And I’m wondering which of the options Mapping or Transferring is the one that allow me to add the domain to the prototype website I’m building from scratch here that is available without me having to get a paid WP plan

    Hi there,

    You won’t able to map or transfer a domain if your site is on the Free plan. You can use the .wordpress.com or .blog subdomain address that comes for free with each WordPress.com site and give that to your readers.
