Should I move back to WordPress.com?

I need to talk out a problem that I’m having and I need feedback. I’m not sure of what forum is best. I did notice an old comment and I’m sure he’s right.

A year ago, I made the decision to move my WordPress site over to a private self hosting service – Blue Host. The very same month, my mother suffered a stroke caused by a brain aneurysm. It resulted in a weakening of the left side and a mild form of dementia. She’s currently in a nearby nursing home.

You can guess the drama and the stress.

A couple of weeks ago, my site was renewed and I got reminded of why I’m at Blue Host. I already found out that the stress has had an impact on my writings. It definitely suffered.

Today, I am asking a serious question about http://inspiration-point.org. My WordPress.com account is still active and point to my domain. Would it be a good idea to take a step back and return my site to WorPress.com?

My original reason for moving is to earn an income. The plan has been to include AdSense and link to books, movie or music sold by Amazon. I’ve done this on my current site. Nothing dramatic

I revisited WordPress.com. It seems WordAd is taking off and it’s now okay to point to a movie, book or music referenced in an article. Is this correct?

You can visit my main site and see what’s been done. I created a child of the TwentyEleven theme. What would be involved in such a move?
