Should I swtich Domain Registrars if moving from self-hosted to bluehost?

  Hi,

  I’m moving my domain from bluehost.com (my current host and registrar) to wordpress.com (as soon as my hosting expires – 2 weeks). Besides changing the Nameservers to point to wordpress.com, should I also switch my registrar or can I/am I able to stay with bluehost?

  If I have to change my registrar, is there a way to do this for free, or a for a small fee? I’ve only switched domain names once (from godaddy to bluehost) but that was so long ago that I can’t remember what was the repercussions were.

  ok, I figured it out. For those who are wondering, you have to switch registrars (if you’re hosted on bluehost) and only then can you point it to wordpress. I’m thinking about godaddy.
