Hi there, if you want your new domain name to point to kolfactory.wordpress.com on WordPress.com you would have to have an upgraded plan. You can then map your domain to WordPress.com.
You could read more about the plans and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

If however you want to run the self-hosted version of WordPress.org you could ask your hosting provider to help you set it up. If you are unclear about the two versions you can catch up here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hope this sets you in the desired direction.

  • Hi there,

Whether you map or transfer is entirely up to you. Either option will cause your WordPress.com site to appear at your custom domain, with the only real difference being whether you pay us for the domain’s renewal each year vs GoDaddy.

That said, if you just bought the domain it won’t be eligible for transfer for at least 60 days, so regardless of your end goal, for now you’ll need to map the domain if you want to use it here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Once you’ve owned the domain with GoDaddy for at least 60 days, you’ll be able to transfer it to us at that point.
