Should I transfer the domain I own to wordpress

    Hi
    I have a domain that I own under Godaddy – I am setting up my website in wordpress and I wanted to know if I should transfer the domain to wordpress or keep it with Godaddy and just connect it.

    What are the pros and cons of both.

    It’s really up to personal preference more than anything else :)

    If you transfer the domain to us, you’ll be able to manage your domain and site in the same place, and you’ll only pay one provider each year for renewal of both the domain and the site (though those payments might be due on different dates).

    Many people prefer to keep their domain and hosting separate, though the only real potential benefit to that would be if your domain renewal cost at GoDaddy is cheaper than the domain renewal cost with us.
