should I upgrade my blog to a 'blog with wordpress?

  What are the benefits to paying for a .blog with wordpress? Would I have to make any change to my blog or is it simply a new address? Will they stop putting ads on my pages?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The below link shows pricing and features with the different pay levels of WordPress.com.

  Ads are removed with paid accounts and they allow you to use a custom domain name for your site.

  Thanks John, I’m not sure if the one I’m referring to is the same though. They’re calling it a .blog and it’s 22 dollars a year.

  I believe that would be the cost of just the .blog custom domain name for one year.

  You then need one of the listed paid accounts to apply your custom domain name to. WordPress.com does not allow you to apply a custom domain name to a free level account.
