Should I use HTML five in posts on my wordpress blog?

    Hi all,
    I am just learning HTML, so I can use it on my word press dot com blog. My question is, should I use HTML five? Or would it be better to use another version of HTML? I want to make sure that all computers/I devices/androids Etc can access my links. Thanks in advance.
