Should it Have Those White Bars Scrolling Up?

  I am putting up this new blog and it is using the default theme, I think.

  As you scroll down the page you run across white bands with text in them. Like one is called ‘Home’ and the next is ‘Homepage’ and the next is ‘About’.

  Should they be there on the finished blog?

  I don’t like them. It’s like that when I ‘visit site’ from operating on it as admin and still there when I logout – so that’s the finished product then isn’t it?

  I have another blog I did some time ago and it doesn’t look like that at all.

  I mean it’s just as modern, same version I think, but it doesn’t have these ‘bands’ with all that talk that seems to be instructions for the new admin on setting up. I thought I’d removed all that stuff when I was trying to configure it.

  Perhaps I’ve set about it all in the wrong way.

  I don’t know where that came from. I didn’t put it there. That is not the blog I need help with.

  I couldn’t see a place to edit my post…
